                                       Introduction

I think that the USA is a very interesting and beautiful country. There are so many Russian people that want to visit America. There are so many states there with lots of cities and towns. The capital city of the USA is Washington DC. It’s very old and beautiful city. In my opinion the most interesting, beautiful and popular cities in the USA are NY, LA and Atlanta.

In 2007 Olympic Games took place in America, in Atlanta state Georgia. Those Olympic Games impressed their greatly that’s why people decide to learn more about this beautiful city. After surfing the Net it was understood that Atlanta is a very wonderful city with an interesting history and beautiful sightseeings. That’s why I decide to write about this city. And the main question of my report is: “Why the history of Atlanta so interesting to us?”

To answer this question I wrote a plan consisting of three additional questions.

1.      How did Atlanta begin?

2.      How has the industry of Atlanta started to develop?

3.      How has Atlanta changed since it’s foundation?

This work will be useful for different people. Either will for teachers, or for pupils, to learn more about this wonderful city. It is interesting to learn about the history of this city in details. One may say that Atlanta’s history is the history of America. Atlanta was described in Margaret Mitchel’s novel:” Gone with the wind “. From the other side it would be interesting not only for our pupils but for American guests they could understand that we know about their culture cities and history.
